About Us

Getting Our Start

Talley Petoleum has been operating in Central PA since the late 1960's. It was founded by James A. Talley, Sr. After working in the fuel oil industry for several years, James decided to strike out on his own by delivering kerosene.

With one truck and a little money, James started Talley Petroleum Enterprises.

In 1977, James moved the company from Harrisburg to its present location in Grantville, PA (just north of Harrisburg along Rt. 22)

Family Owned and Operated

Even after his death in 1998, Talley Petroleum still remains a family run business.

It is currently owned and operated by James' wife, Judith , along with their three sons.
